Our services

Communications

Effective communications are one of the most valuable tools any business can have.  But all too often when it comes to communicating, companies and organisations let themselves down simply because they don’t have the expertise to maximise the outcomes from their communications. The PAWS team is widely experienced in external communications (including liaison with Government, policy-makers and stakeholders) and internal communications (staff, shareholders and allies). We have the skills and experience to help you strengthen your communications and effectively communicate your desired message to the right audience, at the right time and in the right format.

PR strategies and advice

Public relations strategies and advice are the foundations of any good campaign or project for a company. Ensuring you get the best PR advice in developing your strategies can be crucial to the final success of your campaign and project. With PAWS’ broad experience in PR and media, we know what works, and works well, and we develop your strategies to focus on your unique needs and outcome goals.

Issues

Communications about positive – and negative – issues determine how stakeholders, government and clients perceive your company and how it operates. Communications about issues must be relevant and targeted, and underpin the ongoing reputation of your company. They can make the difference between success or failure when managing issues. Brand protection and projection remain paramount in issues communications and we incorporate this overarching philosophy as a fundamental plank in approach.

Reports and submissions

Writing reports and submissions, whether as part of a bid or as a funding proposal or indeed any other corporate objective, can be time-consuming and onerous for many businesses. It simply is not your area of expertise. PAWS takes this burden off your shoulders with our team producing clean, accurate and readable reports, submissions and documents. You brief us; we produce a result you will be proud of and one which is tailored to your specific needs and objectives.

Media

Our principals have more than 80 years’ combined media experience, both as working journalists and as public affairs and corporate affairs exponents.  We will help you through the often arcane world of media relations, helping your choose the right medium for individual campaigns or objectives, and also developing and distributing media releases that hit the mark. We have been there and know what works, and just as importantly, what doesn’t work. We also produce features, opinion pieces and letters to the editor on your behalf to broaden the scope of your message and its target audience.

Advocacy support

Dealing with government at Federal, State and local levels can be intimidating for people unfamiliar with the protocols and processes involved. We can help you through this maze and point you in the right direction to maximise your outcomes through government interaction. Knowing who to focus your advocacy operations on, and when, is pivotal to scoring goals for your company and organisation. Whether it is government campaign, a grassroots campaign or a broad media campaign at PAWS we work with you get the right mix for your purposes.

Online or printed, publications still have a central place in helping to inform the outside world about your operations and to highlight particular developments, projects and schemes. PAWS will produce high-quality publications from inception to publication; publications which are targeted towards your strategic goals and which elevate your exposure and recognition in the marketplace.
